Thanks for asking the question. If there&#039;s a lien, then the seller&#039;s agent needs to negotiate with the lender to pay off the lien or arrange some kind of payment plan between seller and lien holder so that they can release the lien or if the buyer thinks it is a good deal even after paying their lien then the buyer pays it. So, some kind of arrangement is necessary in order to close the escrow because you cannot close without the release of all liens. Good luck in buying your house.</description>
